HCB has been awarded an Emergency Solutions Grant — CARES Act by the West Virginia Development Office to help those experiencing homelessness in West Virginia.
The HCB projects that this funding will help 150 people with rent, utilities, and security deposits from February 1, 2021, through January 2022.
The funding will be available to serve people at-risk or experiencing homelessness in Randolph, Tucker, Barbour, Webster, Upshur and Lewis counties. All households will be prioritized based on need using the WV Coalition to End Homelessness (WVCEH) Coordinated Entry System.
